Aid for Danpur Village – August 24, 2021
Dear Benefactors,
Danpur village is 7 KM far from Mahabodhi temple, there are 109 families who are from Mahadalit community (underprivileged families, they have the lowest financial situation. Most of them, works on construction sites, farm land or any random day labor. However, due to lockdown situation, most of them lost jobs or not getting jobs daily. None of others charity organization has reached to this village before in 18 months of the COVID times.
We did perform twice our free meal program here, but we came to know, they are in search to job and elders are not earning much to feed the whole family. We could not completed the distribution due to muddy road and rain situation. We will distribute these next day.
Our given food packets are enough for 15 days for one family.

How beautiful to see these children to have meals together. village children stay home and Children already return to school have lunch together.
There are no discrimination while eating together like this.
Community helpings are a great concept to create love and harmony among people.

We are in process of repeating villages during this “free meal distribution” program.
With no surprise, kids are happy to see us again.
Covid situation has brought many challenges for the families. We are trying to reduce few of them.

They are shy and they are gentle sometimes. As compared from yesterday, we got few women as volunteers for the day.
We appreciated them for their time and services.
